While the hotel had clean rooms and friendly staff, it’s a bit outdated and underwhelming overall. I appreciated the pet-friendly policy and spacious suites, but there were issues with noise and some amenities like the fitness room being unavailable. The breakfast spread could be confusing if you're in a hurry. Not exactly the best value around.

It was just a fine choice for a short visit in Hammond, great for the money. The sausage gravy at breakfast was loaded with sausage chunks and really hit the spot. Make sure to take advantage of the truck parking available out front.

The overall cleanliness did help, but the lingering tobacco smell made it uncomfortable, especially with kids in tow. Plus, trying to check in at the designated 3 PM time proved pointless when the room wasn’t ready, leading to an extended wait. Lastly, the exterior of the building gave off a sketchy vibe, not the kind of first impression anyone wants when pulling up.
